About the Practice
Gayle Hinebaugh MSW, LCSW, is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania to provide clinical counseling and social work, with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field.
I studied Psychology at Guilford College and attained my Masters in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh 2007. Since becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2013, I started a private practice in western Pennsylvania, which opened as PA Counseling in October 2016
I served at Pennsylvania’s inpatient State Hospital, provided social work services for hospice, and interned at County Group Partial Programs, providing treatment for a wide range of personalities and circumstances. I also taught parenting classes and workshops at the Somerset Correctional Institute (prisons)
In private practice, I specialize in talk therapy and am certified in telehealth therapy and am certified in Anxiety. I have extensive training in EMDR and CBT/DBT. I can work with you to learn how to find peace in difficult circumstances and live a more productive and fruitful life. For information about my approach, please visit the Counseling Principles section of this website.
Offering sessions both in the (PA) office and online and accepting most insurances, I will work with you to fit your schedule and accept your insurance. Please visit the Getting Started page for more information
